Scribner Hollow HOA Renters Policy

Overview

  • Owners at Scribner Hollow have always had the ability to rent their units to help assist with monthly dues, Property taxes and Utility costs.  
  • Renters should not be disruptive to other owners and repeated complaints  will be cause for action against the owner in question. 
  • Owners are responsible for the conduct of their guests. 
  • Currently, the village of Hunter does not require registrations for short term rentals but the Town of Hunter does. See Info below. 

Rules and Regulations for Renters

  • Vehicles are to park in front of the unit
  • Renters are to move their vehicle once the snow plow has gone through the property  once
  • Renters are not allowed to have pets.  
  • There will be designated quiet time of 11pm to 8am. 
  • No loud music and large parties will be allowed. 
  • Renters and cleaners must turn water off when vacating the unit
  • Max Occupancy for duplex is 10,  triplex is 16
  • Primary renter age is 25 or older

Town of Hunter Rental Regulations

Owners in the C" building  are not located within the actual Village of Hunter boundaries, and fall under regulations for the Town of Hunter.  which requires registration of units that are being rented online. Application is available below.
